Information We Collect
When you use the LIT Java website or mobile app, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and optional birthday when you create an account or place an order. We also collect order history and loyalty points associated with your account, device push notification tokens (iOS and Android), and your notification preferences. Saved payment cards are vaulted securely by Square — LIT Java does not store your full card details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process orders, enable order-ahead and checkout, send curbside pickup alerts, manage loyalty earn and redeem, deliver cart reminders, event reminders, and owner post notifications, and communicate with you about your orders and account.
Third Party Services
Square processes payments and loyalty — see Square's privacy policy at squareup.com/legal/privacy. Supabase provides authentication and secure database storage. Expo delivers push notifications to your device.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account in the LIT Java mobile app under Account → Edit Profile → Delete account. When you do, your personal information is permanently removed from the LIT Java app and our database. That includes your login, name, email, phone number, birthday, favorites, push notification tokens, saved payment links, and loyalty link. You will not be able to sign in or use the app again with that account, and the app will no longer access or display this information.
Square, our payment partner, may separately retain information such as your name, email, phone number, saved cards, loyalty account, and payment and transaction history. We do not currently delete your Square customer profile when you delete your LIT Java account — Square keeps that data according to its own policies. Some anonymized order records may still be kept for café operations and tax purposes. Orders are detached from your account, but we may retain non-identifying records needed to run the business.
Data Retention
We keep active account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from the LIT Java app and our systems as described above. Square may continue to retain payment and customer information on its own, as explained in the Account Deletion section and in Square's privacy policy.
